A world player in food safety chooses Newbridge for new Irish laboratory

Mérieux NutriSciences, a leading international enterprise specialising in food safety, quality and sustainability has expanded its footprint in Ireland, selecting Newbridge, Co. Kildare to set up operations of its latest site.

Headquartered in Chicago, the company has a worldwide presence, with locations in 27 countries, and a team of over 8,000 employees.

Mérieux NutriSciences’ advanced laboratory testing centre in Newbridge offers a range of innovative food testing services to the Irish food industry. Clients include global giant Kerry Group, which has also chosen Kildare (Naas) as a location of choice.  

The new facility is located on Athgarvan Road in the centre of Newbridge and adjoins the Newbridge Silverware facility. The new site comprises some 25,000 sq. ft of laboratory, offices and staff facilities.
