Premier Performance, a leading supplier of premium horse nutrition products, has officially expanded its business operations to Ireland, choosing Kildare as it’s new business base. The move comes in response to the ongoing complexities faced by UK businesses post-Brexit, including supply chain disruptions, customs complications, and regulatory changes.
Premier Performance, known for its top-quality equine nutrition solutions, has been a trusted partner for horse owners, trainers, and breeders across the UK and Europe. With a strong reputation for delivering products that enhance equine health, performance, and well-being, the company has always prioritized seamless customer service and product availability. However, Brexit’s impact on logistics and trade has necessitated a significant strategic shift.
Why Ireland, and more specifically Kildare?
Ireland was selected as a base of operations for several reasons. As a member of the European Union, Ireland offers Premier Performance access to the single market, enabling smoother cross-border trade with Europe. This relocation will ensure uninterrupted product delivery, enhance customer service, and reduce delays caused by the new regulatory landscape in the UK.
Kildare is an obvious choice for businesses, ideally situated in the Greater Dublin Area, close to both Dublin city and Dublin Airport. It’s also within easy access to Dublin Port, providing seamless connections for both national and international markets. The N7/M7 motorway runs through the county, linking it to major cities such making it a prime logistics hub.
“We are committed to maintaining the high level of service our customers expect from us,” said Camilla Zanna, Premier Performance’s Managing Director. “Expansion into Ireland allows us to overcome the logistical barriers presented by Brexit, ensuring that we can continue to supply our premium horse nutrition products to our valued clients across Europe without high import costs.”
A New Chapter for Premier Performance
Despite the challenges posed by Brexit, Premier Performance views this expansion as an exciting new chapter. The company plans to continue developing its range of scientifically formulated equine supplements while growing its presence across European markets.
O’Neill & Co. wish Premier Performance the best of luck with their move; it was a pleasure working with the company on behalf of our client.
